Integrative psychotherapistAbout Me
You feel like a fake. Your facade is flawless. But deep down you know it’s a lie. People see your accomplishments. Your practiced smile. The winged eyeliner it took you three years to perfect. You almost believe yourself when they ask how you are and you reply ‘fine thanks’. Just keeping up this pretence is exhausting. Lately, drinking your coffee, you imagine screaming. So that someone will finally ask what’s wrong, see past your charade and tell you you're going to be ok. You’re supposed to be clever, everything looks good on paper, so why do you feel so empty?
You find yourself alone with a tub of Phish Food on a Friday night ashamed to be daydreaming about being rescued rather than figuring it all out by yourself, like a strong, independent, woman. You need someone who gets why you feel worthless, who helps you accept yourself, so you can stop canvassing approval from your boss or your Hinge matches.
As a former compatriot in self-loathing, I’ve been there, I've lived it, and I've eaten all. the. ice cream. It's time to stop pretending everything is okay, I offer online sessions via Zoom so you can’t use your ridiculous diary as an excuse. Contact me today to book an initial session.
