Noel Bell
Integrative psychotherapistAbout Me
I am an integrative psychotherapist having trained at the Centre for Counselling and Postgraduate Education (CCPE) in London. The training was experiential and I was required to be in personal therapy throughout the course of my career. I previously had extensive experience of working in corporative environments and can attune my approach to work related stress as well as the issues associated with life transitions. My approach is integrative as I believe that flexibility and an open mind are good components to successful outcome measures. I, therefore, draw on the most effective tools and techniques from a variety of schools and approaches including psychodynamic, CBT, Gestalt, Existential, Transactional Analysis and Transpersonal.
I believe that it is essential that you feel comfortable and safe with your therapist so that you can start an open and frank dialogue. Research has indicated that the working alliance (how you get on with your therapist) is as important as any other factor in successful therapeutic outcomes. I am happy to have a short telephone chat in the first instance if you feel that this would help you to decide whether you want to meet me.
