​Building and maintaining a relationship with you is hugely important and I put you at the centre of that relationship. I believe that you have the ability to achieve what you want and need from therapy, and it is my role to support you in doing that.

I will work with you as an individual and choose a therapeutic approach (or approaches) that will work for you and what you bring to counselling. It may be important to work with what has happened in your childhood or have goals to work on specific issues. Or it may be that you just need a space where someone listens to you who isn’t involved in your day-to-day life.

I have over 10 years’ experience of working in the mental health sector and have always had a particular personal interest in supporting mothers. I have provided counselling for mums who were survivors of domestic abuse at a women's refuge. I also work with mums in private practice who are a range of ages and who need support on a range of issues. In addition, I have worked with individuals living with sight loss at a local charity, and 18-25 year olds at a low-cost counselling service. ​
