Martia Bevan
Person-centred/humanistic counsellorAbout Me
Counselling can provide an opportunity to talk about concerns and problems you may be experiencing at this time. It can identify difficulties you may want to understand or change.
I offer a safe, warm and confidential therapeutic space where we can work together to try and make sense of any concerns or problems relating to life events, negative experiences or relationship difficulties.
I work within a Person-Centred approach based on acceptance, honesty and empathy. I use my integrative training with aspects of psychodynamic and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to work with a personalised approach to suit your needs at this time.
Areas I work with
I have substantial experience in bereavement, mental distress, disability and sight-loss, autism, chronic illness and the carer role.
