Integrative counsellorAbout Me
Autism is widely considered a disability. But is this view helpful? What if we were to make peace with our differences because they are just that--differences, not deficiencies?
If you are ready to move on from autistic and struggling to brilliantly autistic, great! I am here to support you. Realising things could be better is the first step towards positive change. It may be useful for you to be truly heard, to talk through how you want your life to be and what you can do about it. You may wish to focus on resolving communication issues and dealing with burnout. Or perhaps you would like to explore how to use strong emotions to achieve your goals. It may be easier to connect with someone, who shares similar experience to you. I am very open about my autism and difficulties with pressures of everyday life. I genuinely want to hear about yours!
I am an autistic counsellor supporting autistic adults with navigating life. I help you to:
-discover your genuine self
-manage emotions
-negotiate fulfilling relationships
-thrive at work
Therapy starts with you, the client. You choose what to explore. I will work with you on getting to the core of the issues. Together we will visualise your desired reality and work towards an achievable version. The ultimate aim is for you to start living a fulfilling life comfortably as swiftly as possible. My previous clients said they had found the sessions beneficial and walked away with renewed hope.

Safeguarding
I have clinical experience is in a broad range of mental health concerns including trauma, psychosis, depression, anxiety and low self-esteem. I use a blend of theories with the overarching emphasis on the value of the individual experience of reality and human autonomy.
My approach to therapy is centred on encouraging the clients to regain a sense of control. As we gradually rediscover own resourcefulness, creativity and autonomy, a great deal of negative symptoms subsides.
