Karlina Jordan
Integrative counsellorAbout Me
It takes real courage to admit that something is wrong and even more courage to reach out to a professional for help.
If you need help and support, I am a qualified integrative counsellor who is honest, compassionate and direct. I have worked with people from different backgrounds and walks of life to help them feel heard, self-validated and empowered. Being a nurturing, conscientious and reflective counsellor has helped my client’s progress with the tools and confidence to be free from inner pain.
My approach is versatile, I offer clients a reliable, supportive and purposeful working relationship. I will empathetically listen to you, to understand your frame of reference in the world, so that I am able to support you and tailor therapy around your goals.
In therapy it is important to feel safe and be able to express yourself freely, without judgement or criticism, this is the benchmark for where healing really begins. For me, therapy is a collaborative journey, where our relationship is key. When a real human connection has been established great healing and inner wisdom can be achieved.
Clients describe me as empathic, non-judgemental and a warm listener. If you need your feelings validated and someone to actively listen to you and work with you to achieve your therapeutic goals, I will work with you and support you.
Therapy is an explorative space for you to feel comfortable and talk about the things that are difficult to share with family or friends. It is a collaborative working relationship that when built on trust, can enable great healing and clarity to take place.
During therapy, we can work on moving past the pain, understanding what is happening for you and work on feeling better about yourself. Self-exploration in a non-judgemental space can accelerate self-awareness, which is the key to better understanding and accepting of yourself, which in turn can galvanise positive change.
