Integrative counsellorAbout Me
Life can be challenging at times and may become overwhelming which can have an impact on our health, family and work life and general wellbeing. My ethos is based on there not being a one size fits all approach and I tailor my approach to meet your individual needs and wishes. My clients can be assured of a safe and confidential space where they can feel comfortable to focus on themselves and share their thoughts and feelings within a warm, empathetic, non-judgemental and relaxed environment. I work as integrated counsellor, practising Person Centred, Psychodynamic and holistic approaches to Counselling. I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). As a member of the BACP, I am committed providing an Ethical and quality service, demonstrating high levels of professionalism and integrity at all times.
I currently volunteer as a counsellor for a homeless charity providing therapy to homeless and recently housed service users that would otherwise not be able to access much-needed help. Through the charity, I have had the opportunity to work with people of all ages, addictions, historical abuse, trauma, domestic violence and family conflict on a 1:1 basis. I have previously counselled young victims of crime and their parents via teams or telephone. I am a neurodivergent myself and specialise in working with neurodivergent clients and women coping with the emotional and mental health aspects of menopause.
