About Me

Hello. I’m Emma-Jane Kisby and I run Elysium Counselling Services in Wolverhampton where I provide counselling to individuals in a contemporary and relaxed setting. My counselling experience is diverse and includes people who have problems with anxietydepressionrelationshipsangerwork stress and low self esteem. I have also helped people with the emotional trauma of sexual and physical abuse as well as bereavement. I have a special interest in Attachment Disorders and complex trauma.

Whilst Person Centred theory informs my practice, I also have an interest in JungianTherapy which is Psychoanalytic Therapy, therefore I use a client focused, integrative approach which simply means that I have many tools in my toolkit and will find the right one for you!

Fees

The first step is to contact me to arrange a consultation. I generally recommend three consultations because I have found from experience that one consultation does not provide the amount of time needed to fully understand an individuals life experiences. Sessions last 50 minutes and cost from £50 payable by cash or card. Genuine concessions are available- please ask.

Training and qualifications

I love what I do. I have seen how counselling can improve people’s self confidence and selfworth as well as help to deal with traumatic issues that have affected their lives. I feel proud to dedicate my working life to a profession that is a powerful force for personal growth and social change.
