About Me

I am an experienced psychotherapist, psychosexual and couples psychotherapist  based in South Kensington, with a strong history in assisting individuals and couples  in navigating various challenges in their lives.

Together with private practice, I also work at the Homerton University Hospital - NHS Foundation Trust in the Cliveden Centre – specialising in sexual dysfunctions/STI’s/living with HIV/sexual trauma as well as psychosexual dysfunctions and relationship conflict.  I work with both individuals and couples .  I also spent two years on the Neurological Rehabilitation Ward – NHS UCLH – Queen Square.

Over the course of five years, I pursued comprehensive training at WPF, LDPRT and the Institute of Psychoanalysis, complemented by additional courses at the BPF and the BPA.

Prior to embarking on my journey as a qualified psychotherapist, I dedicated many years to the field of PR and Communications. It was during this period that I found myself captivated by the intricate dynamics and motivations that surrounded me.

My core training as a psychotherapist in private practice allows for an intimate setting that allows me to cultivate a trusting and confidential space where clients feel safe to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. The autonomy of private practice allows for the flexibility to tailor therapeutic approaches to the unique needs of each client, fostering a collaborative and individualised approach.

As a psychosexual psychotherapist, I guide individuals through the therapeutic process, helping them explore and navigate their unique challenges related to sexuality and relationships. Whether it involves concerns about intimacy, sexual dysfunction, or communication breakdowns, I am dedicated to providing a supportive space for individuals to openly address and work through these issues.

In my role as a couples psychotherapist, I am committed to facilitating a deeper understanding and connection between partners. Drawing on proven therapeutic techniques, I assist couples in navigating challenges, fostering effective communication, and building stronger, more resilient relationships. My goal is to create an environment where couples can collaboratively address issues, enhance intimacy, and achieve a more fulfilling connection.

Beginning  therapy can be a challenging decision, and determining the right therapist is crucial. During our initial sessions, we collaboratively identify the goals sought and delve into the reasons that brought the individual to therapy. A thorough exploration of personal and family history forms the basis of this initial process.  Active engagement from both parties is essential for successful psychotherapy.

The foundation of trust and a strong therapeutic relationship is pivotal for effective collaboration and deriving benefits from the therapeutic process.

I am an approved provider for Aviva Private Health Insurance and WPA
